Ganesha Singing Bowl

Each bowl creates a different frequency and has its very own signature sound. This singing bowl is made with a combination of these 7 metals: gold, silver, copper,  iron, tin, lead and zinc that represent the 7 planets accordingly: Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus. It depicts the Hindu God Ganesha, also known as Ganapati,  who is considered to be the remover of all obstacles. Lord Ganesha brings success, prosperity and good luck to anyone who worships him, clears one's path and supports any new beginnings and business endeavors. He also represents generosity and total acceptance.

How to play: You can play a singing bowl by striking the side of it or by swirling its perimeter with the use of a mallet. The two methods create quite different sounds: the second method is more popular when used for sound healing and therapy sessions, whereas the first method is more commonly used as a mindfulness bell in meditation and yoga sessions.
